Civil rights and liberties are our most fundamental rights as citizens. And while these rights are not always easy to get, the must be fought for and preserves. Our forefathers gave their lives to protect these rights and we must honor them by dedicating ours to their preservation.
Here at Arcof72.com we analyze and offer commentary on the most pressing civil rights and liberties issues of the day with a focus on the Asian American community. The Asian American community has had a long history in the United States, some good, some bad, but Asian Americans today, while only 5.8% of the U.S. population, have the highest education and median household income out of any other demographic group. This is a testament to the resilience of our community and our unwavering support for fundamental civil rights.
Today, we fight for those issues that are most pressing to the Asian American community, from privacy to immigration reform, and while we are not affiliated at all with the Asian Law Caucus, we remain committed to civil rights for the Asian American community. The fight for civil rights does not stop, so we should not stop fighting.
